Announcement of Successful Applicants for AY 2009 Admission

The University of Aizu announced 207 successful applicants for AY 2009 admission to the School of Computer Science and Engineering on Friday, March 6, at noon. Applicants and their guardians gathered in front of a bulletin board on campus to wait for the posting of results. They shared the joy of success when they confirmed their identification numbers on the board.
The University's undergraduate entrance exams were conducted on Wednesday, February 25. 645 people took the entrance examination for admissions capacity of 180. The final competitive ratio of applicants to admitted students was 3.6.
