A team from the University of Aizu passed a preliminary round for the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest with a high ranking.
A team of students from our University came in second place in a preliminary round for the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest held on Friday, June 30, 2006, and has qualified for the Asia Regional Contest in November.
The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest is a world-wide programming contest for university students sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery, which is one of the biggest international academic societies dedicated to computing and information processing. Our University hosted the Asia Regional Contest in 2003.
