Signing of a Cooperative Agreement with The TOHO BANK, Ltd.

On Wednesday, June 20, 2007, The University of Aizu signed an agreement with The TOHO BANK, Ltd. for the purpose of contribution to regional development and industrial promotion by mutual collaboration and cooperation utilizing research seeds, financial technologies, information and know-how, etc.
Items under the agreement are as follows.

  1. Exchange of information and support regarding development of culture and industries in the region
  2. Exchange of information and support regarding venture businesses
  3. Exchange of information and support regarding new technologies and new business fields
  4. Other required operations to achieve the goals of this agreement

The University-Business Innovation Center of the University and The TOHO BANK Aizu Branch will be the primary contacts for the collaboration under the agreement and will establish a system to deal with timely information exchange and other projects.
