Guidelines Regarding the Prevention of Sexual Harassment
University of Aizu Guidelines Regarding the Prevention of
Sexual Harassment were approved at the Faculty Assembly
meeting on July 21, 1999.
Objective of the Guidelines
Sexual harassment is violation of human dignity. At the same
time, it corrupts the surrounding teaching and research
environment. The Guidelines stipulate measures for prevention
and elimination of sexual harassment and countermeasures
against sexual harassment cases so that a sound teaching and
research environment can be maintained and established at
the University.
Organization
The ¡ÈUniversity of Aizu Committee for the Prevention of
Sexual Harassment¡É was established within the University, and
five personnel members were appointed as the committee
members. The counter for counseling has been established at
the Counseling Room (for the Students), and at the same time,
5 case recorders have been posted within the University.
Those wishing to consult on any matters of sexual harassment
may visit the Counseling Room or any one of the five case
recorders at their room, etc.
