Appointment of non-Japanese Faculty Members to Managerial Positions

Since half of the faculty is non-Japanese at the University of Aizu, it follows that non-Japanese faculty members should actively participate in the administration and management of the university. Therefore, it has been decided that non-Japanese faculty members could be considered eligible for appointment to the following 5 managerial positions.

1. Director of the Department of Software
2. Director of the Department of Hardware
3. Director of the Center for Cultural Research and Studies
4. Director of the Center for Language Research
5. Director of the Center for Mathematical Sciences
