The University of Aizu Entrance Ceremony for AY 2000 was held at the University of Aizu Auditorium on April 10. The total number of the new undergraduate students for this year was 244, consisting of 90 students from Fukushima Prefecture and 154 students from 31 other prefectures. The number of the new graduate students was 58 (51 master's students and 7 doctoral students) including 7 international students who were enrolled in the graduate school at their own expenses. 3 students transferred from the University of Aizu Junior College Division to the School of Computer Science and Engineering this academic year for the first time.
