ĦĦThe ``Computer Science Summer Camp in The University of Aizu 2001" was held from August 6 (Monday) to August 9 (Thursday), 2001 at The University of Aizu. Participants were junior high and high school students participated from all over the country. As an extracurricular program of the event, participants visited the Beautiful Fukushima Future Expo.
ĦĦThe Beautiful Fukushima Future Expo, held from July 7 to September 31, 2001, exhibited the fruits of past summer camps at the ``Future Science College" in the Future Industry Hall. A number of students and staff members of the University participated in the event as instructors, allowing visitors to experience the wonder of computers. A piece on computer graphics called ``Pako" produced by a group of students from the University was exhibited, and was very well received.
