On March 30, a farewell ceremony was held for Former President Shoichi Noguchi. With many faculty members gathering to see him off, Prof. Noguchi left his post as of this day. For four years from April of 1997, he had worked hard towards the development of the University of Aizu. Former President Noguchi will be involved with the university in new ways as an advisor to Fukushima Prefecture.
