English Pronunciation Courseware Development

Hisako Murakawa,
Professor, Center for Language Research

The Pronunciation Courseware Project is designed to advance our students' knowledge and skills in English Pronunciation. Approximately 550 computer science terms have been installed into the workstations in the Language Media Laboratory (LML) for pronunciation practice. Students can visualize and compare their pronunciation with that of a native English speaker. The pronunciation courseware is comprised of three types of learning materials including textbooks, videos, and lab drill books.
