SUBJECT: Request regarding Donations from the Aizu
       Area Foundation for the Promotion of Education
       and Science(Reminder)

 The University has been supported considerably by the Aizu
Area Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Science
through provision of aid for students’ travel expenses
to participate in academic conferences, management of
student housing, etc.
 However, fund-raising activities have not been very
successful for the Foundation, which is a main source of
their revenue,under the severe financial circumstances of
the times.In addition, corresponding to decline of deposit
interest rates, revenue used for management of the
Foundation have also been decreasing, and it has been very
difficult for the Foundation to obtain necessary funds for
business activities.
 The University has received a request from the Foundation
for donations. Taking into consideration of these
circumstances described above, your support and cooperation
would be highly appreciated.

(Description)
Amount of Donation: 1,000 yen per share(1 share and up)
                  If you would like a receipt for your
                  donation, please submit a request for
                  a receipt for issuance by the Aizu Area
                  Foundation for the Promotion of Education
                  and Science.

Method of Donation: The Collaboration and Assistance Group
                  will collect donations on campus, and make
                  a lump payment to the Foundation.
                   Please contact the Collaboration and
                  Assistance Group if you would like to make
                  a donation.

会津地域教育・学術振興財団への寄附金のお願いについて（再送）
会津地域教育・学術振興財団につきましては、日頃より学生の学会参加の際
の旅費の助成や学生寮の運営等について、多大な支援を受けているところで
あります。
しかしながら財団の主たる財源である寄附金の募集も経済状況が厳しいなか
思うように集まらず、また預金金利の低下により基金の運用益についても減少
しており、事業活動への必要資金が厳しい状況にあります。
つきましては、財団より寄附金のお願いがありましたので、このような状況を
ご理解いただき、教職員の皆様方にも積極的なご支援を賜りたく、ご協力を
お願い申し上げます。

領収書を希望される方は、会津地域教育・学術振興財団で発行
しますので申し出て下さい。
寄附の方法　　事務局で取りまとめのうえ、一括して財団へ持参いたします。
