自己紹介
平成２年に東北大学工学研究科修士号を取得し、平成５年に同博士後期課程を修了し、工学博士号を取得しました。
同年会津大学講師になり、平成11年に同大学助教授、 平成１４年から同大学教授に就任しました。プロトコルの設計と実装、分散アルゴリズム、遠隔教育、ユビキタスコンピューティング、ユビキタスラーニング、モノのインターネット(IoT)に関する研究開発に従事しています。平成１８年から組み込みシステムの機能安全に関する研究・教育をはじめています。平成１８年４月から２２年３月まで同大学産学イノベーションセンター長を勤め、精力的に産学連携による教育プロジェクトを推進しております。文部科学省・現代的教育ニーズ取組支援プログラム「ベンチャー体験工房 会津ＩＴ日新館」のリーダー、アジア人財を育成する「国際ＩＴ日新館」のサブリーダーを勤めてきました。平成18年に経済産業省組み込みソフトウェア開発力強化推進委員会機能安全部会委員を勤めました。平成１９年にIPA/SEC共同研究で「機能安全に関する先行研究」に関する調査に参加しました。平成２０年にIPA/SECとともに、組み込みシステムと機能安全をテーマに教材の作成を取り込みました。平成22年4月から会津大学コンピュータ工学部門長を勤めております。
