マレーシア科学大学への短期海外プログラムに参加を希望する全学生は、準備として本コースを受講する。 本コースでは以下の内容を提供する： 1) 海外渡航に関する基本情報 2) 海外渡航・海外生活に向けた言語・文化準備 3) 課題（インタビュー動画とブログ日記）の紹介 |
| 授業の目的と到達目標 ／Objectives and attainment goals |
[Corresponding Learning Outcomes] (D) Graduates are able to view human society from a global perspective and think about the coexistence of nature and human beings, as well as the happiness, health, and welfare of humankind. (E) Graduates are able to effectively express their thoughts and judgments in writing, orally, and through information media, both inside and outside the country, and to communicate them to others, as well as to understand the information and opinions expressed by others. (F) Graduates are able to determine and carry out the actions they and others, including those from other disciplines, should take and plan and manage work under given constraints in collaborative projects. [Competency Codes] C-EC-002-8, C-EC-012-9 [達成目標] 帰国後、学生は以下のことができるようになる： - 空港カウンターや出入国審査で英語を使って質問に答えられる。 - 交通機関の利用、助けを求め、食品の購入、健康・安全・医療ニーズについて英語で話せる。 - 文化の違いが存在することを理解し、その違いに対処する最善の方法に配慮できる。 - 適切な機材と技術を用いてインタビュー動画を制作できる。 - 英語でブログを書くことができる。 [コース目標] 学生が自信を持って海外を旅行・訪問できるよう支援する。 学生が外国人との交流を円滑に行えるよう支援する。 安全で安心、かつ実りある海外体験を促進する。 インタビュー動画の撮影・編集に関する知識と技能を学生に身につけさせる。 |

Students will attend preparatory classes before entering one of the international experience programs: Session 1. Orientation, Hepburn romanization, Research on travel in general (individual research) Session 2: Research on domestic travel (group work) Session 3: Presentation of Travel preparation 2 (students' presentation) Session 4: Research about the destination (group work) Session 5. Presentation on Session 4 (students' presentation) Session 6. Predeparture orientation (lecture) Session 7: Video assignment 1 (lecture) Session 8: Travel English (lecture, group work) Session 9: Intercultural communication (lecture, group work) Section 10: Blog assignment (lecture) Section 11: Video assignment 1 (lecture) Section 12: Preparation for bilingual cultural exchange (group work) Section 13: Bilingual cultural exchange (group work) Section 14: Sharing experience with former participants (group work) Section 15: TOEIC Speaking 1, Risk management orientation (lecture) *このスケジュールは、過去の参加者や外国人学生の都合により変更される場合があります。 *第1～6回授業は日本語で行われます。それ以降は英語で行われます。 *授業外の課題には通常4～6時間が必要です。 *渡航先の文化・習慣・社会・言語について現地で学ぶのに、通常週15～18時間を費やします。 |
