FY 2009 Off-campus Lectures Start!

The first off-campus lecture of the University of Aizu in FY 2009 was held at Fukushima Prefectural Onuma High School on Wednesday, May 13, 2009.
"Off-campus Lectures" are given for the purpose of attracting the interest of students of high schools, etc., through the "dispatch" of faculty members of the University at the request of high schools and technical junior colleges.
Assistant Professor Okudaira, who had graduated both from a faculty of foreign language and a faculty of science, gave a lecture, titled "The Significance of Learning at Universities." In the lecture, she focused on differences in humanities courses and science courses of universities, as well as benefits of leaning respective courses.
