The University-Business Cooperation Forum "Business Creation Seminar"
The University of Aizu held a University-Business Cooperation Forum event, the "Business Creation
Seminar" at the University-Business Innovation Center, from 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 8.
Approximately 20 people, including students of the University, participated in the forum.
This seminar targeted highly-motivated students and people relevant to venture companies and gave them a realistic
image of new business creation through provision of knowledge and preparation needed for processes related to
development of new ideas into business, and a successful example of a new business started by development
of new technology.
The two invited speakers of the seminar gave lectures to introduce practical know-how necessary for business
planning, support measures for start-up businesses, and a concrete example regarding creation of a new business,
citing development of a Color bit Code. Many questions were asked by the participants.
Lecture titles and speakers were as follows.
- Lecture 1 "Preparation for new businesses -Seeking ways to set up entrepreneurial ventures-"
- Speaker: Mr. Takashi Takakuwa (President, Nihon Food Service Brain)
- Lecture 2 "Specifications of Color Bit Code and its business prospects"
- Speaker: Mr. Akiteru Kimura (Director of Development & IP, B-Core Incorporation)
