The Graduate School Open Lectures "Intensive Courses"

The University of Aizu Graduate School offered "Intensive Courses," open lectures to study leading-edge IT technologies in English, for one week from Sunday, March 2 to Saturday, the 8th.
The open lectures were held as part of an educational program of the University, which was accepted by the "Support Program for Improving Graduate School Education" of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It was the first time the University offered intensive courses to the public.
All 7 lectures, such as Web Services, JAVA 3D Graphics, and Semantic Information Retrieval, were conducted in English and approximately 50 people from within and outside the campus, including students who are considering application to the Graduate School, participated in the lectures. Participants took this opportunity to develop their command of English besides acquiring specialized knowledge in the field of IT technologies.
