- A student group, "M-Project," received an Award of Excellence at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2005.

A student group, "M-Project," received a Student Category Award of Excellence for their short film, "EndCredit" at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2005 which was held from March 31 to April 3, 2005.
This approximately 25-minute short film is about a story of boys in an East European country in the motif of Byakkotai. The film was made as an extracurricular project by a group of students who were interested in making a film using computer graphics. They spent over three and half years on production of the film.

Mr. Satoshi Maeda, a representative of "M-Project," who played a leading role in making the film, has established a company, "The Designium," and he has been active in business making use of knowledge and skills that he acquired at the University.
In addition, members of the newly-formed "M-Project" are currently working on a new film.

*Outline of "Tokyo International Anime Fair"
This fair has been held since 2002 by the executive committee organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and animation-related companies and organizations, with the aim of fostering and promotion of the animation industry.
It is an international trade fair for the animation industry, with the participation of a large number of related companies and organizations, including animation production companies, TV and film companies, toymakers, and software development companies, etc. from Japan and abroad.
The fair provides a line-up of exciting programs, such as "Exhibitions" by participating companies, "Competitions" to select and award superior works, and a variety of "Events" including symposiums, on-stage events, and special shows.
