ISSM'08-'09 Held at the University of Aizu
The 9th International Symposium on Spatial Media (ISSM '08-'09), organized by Professor Cohen of the Computer Arts Lab.
at the University of Aizu, was held in the 3-D theater in the University-Business Innovation Center for 2 days on the 17th
and 18th of February.
The symposium focused on interactive multimedia and virtual reality, and experts in the fields were invited to introduce
their research activities on@user interfaces, distributed music, mobile computing, 3D computer graphics, and power management.
From the University, Norbert Gyorbiro and Julian Villegas, students in the Doctoral program, made presentations on their research
with demonstrations along with Prof. Cohen. University students interested in the regarded fields also participated in research symposium.
