Establishment of the Joint Laboratory with Nanjing University
Setting up of the nameboard
Vice President Rong Zhang, Director Yajun Zou and Associate Professor Baoliu Ye from Nanjing University (NJU), China,
visited the University of Aizu on Friday, February 20, to commemorate the establishment of the Joint Laboratory for
Pervasive Computing between the universities.
They attended a meeting with President Tsunoyama, Vice President Mirenkov and relevant faculty members of the University to discuss
and confirm the objectives of the room's establishment, and then set up the nameboard at the entrance of the room. in the Research Quadrangles.
The title of the current joint research project is the "Creation of Human-friendly Computation Environment" and the project particularly
focuses on "context-based pervasive computing" and "power-saving compilers for embedded software."
On the following day, discussions between researchers of both universities continued regarding the plans and predicted effects of
the joint research on pervasive computing were held.
