The Week for Studies on Next Generation Software Development Processes
The University of Aizu Graduate School Intensive Course Program, the "Week for Studies on Next Generation Software
Development Processes" was held from Monday, March 2.
This intensive course program, which focused on approaches and methods for quality improvement of management of software development,
offered an introductory course on PSPSM and TSPSM programs developed by Carnegie-Mellon SEISM
(Software Engineering Institute). A total of 20 people, including students and faculty members from the University and individuals
from Tokyo and Kyushu who are engaged in software development at companies, participated in the 4-day lecture program.
The lectures were given by Professor Yoshihiro Akiyama of the Kyushu Institute of Technology and Regent Jiro Iwase of the University of
Aizu using English textbooks. Participants also took part in case-based training and discussion sessions.
The program was held through March 5.
