Aizu Wakamatsu 6th Junior High School Students experience the work place at the University of Aizu.

Three students from Aizu Wakamatsu 6th Junior High School came to the University of Aizu to experience the work place on September 20 and October 18.

On the first day, they worked on making personal computers to learn the inside structure of personal computers under the instruction by Associate Professor Kazuyoshi Mori of the Information Systems Laboratory. On the second day, they visited the Information Processing Center, joined a campus tour, and also learned methods for constructing websites.

The editorial work for this page was done by these students, using html tags for layouts, typing sentences and choosing pictures to appear in the web.

"The two-day work experience program has made me further realize the usefulness of personal computers. In fact, it has become more common for us to use personal computers not only in schools but also at home almost everyday. I am glad that I learned structure and mechanism of personal computers, which I use very often. I would like to express my thanks to people of the University of Aizu who helped during this program."
