Industry Showcase: Call for Proposals

The International Conference on Big Data Analytics (BDA 2012) is jointly hosted by the University of Delhi, India, and the University of Aizu, Japan, in New Delhi this December. BDA 2012 aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, students and entrepreneurs in the emerging and pertinent field of Big Data Analytics.
In this regard, BDA 2012 solicits proposals for its Industry Showcase session. This session is meant to showcase innovative products, services and offerings by both startup companies and established corporate bodies. The aim of this showcase is to connect promising industry solutions to potential interested parties, and disseminate news on the latest solutions.
Proposals should be no more than 4 pages long, formatted in the standard LNCS format. Proposals for the industry showcase will go through an editorial review and be filtered based on novelty and relevance to the BDA audience. At least one of the authors of an accepted proposal is expected to register for the event under the Industry Participant category and present the proposed solution. Industry showcase presentations are given 15 minutes of presentation time and a facility to display their solution in the form of a poster. Proposals for the industry showcase session should be submitted using the EasyChair conference management system.
Industry showcase proposals will not be part of the research paper proceedings of the conference. They will be available as a separate collection as a soft copy.
