Driven by the advances in AI, computer architecture, and sensor technologies, automobiles, including electric vehicles (EVs) and  Self-driving cars are transforming into sophisticated automotive computing platforms. As the advancement of these computing systems accelerates, they will be running a wide variety of applications, including sensing, navigation, etc., using application-specific intelligent (i.e. AI-powered) microelectronics and lightweight communication protocols (i.e., Ethernet, SDVs) with real-time, safety and reliability support.

We study AI-enabled automotive computing systems, including automotive-grade chips and systems, to ensure that these innovations meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Our research focuses on developing robust, efficient, and scalable solutions that can handle the ever-increasing demands of modern vehicles. By harnessing the power of AI and cutting-edge technologies, we aim to contribute to the future of transportation, making it smarter, safer, and more efficient for everyone.
