1. JSPS Overseas Research Fellowships Program Guidelines for AY2027

1.1. Eligibility

Regarding the Overseas Research Fellowships program, someone who is a Japanese citizen or permanent resident of Japan and satisfies other requirements is eligible to apply for the program.

And also, the applicant has received their doctoral degree less than five years prior to the start of the academic year, or is expected to receive their doctoral degree within the academic year.
