Call for Demo & System tracks

The Third International Conference on Big Data Analytics System Demonstration Program Committee invites proposals for the Demonstrations Program. We encourage both submission of early research prototypes and interesting mature systems. Submissions must describe working systems demonstrating interesting use-cases and/or applications arising from analysis and processing of massive volumes of data.

What makes a good demo? A good demonstration submission is interesting to a BDA audience and shows a novel solution to a problem. The demonstration submission should address the following questions: Who is my target user? Why does my system exist and why is it important? What does my demonstration do and how does it work? How does it compare with existing systems? Finally, how and when might my technology have an impact?

We would like to strongly encourage demonstrations of industrial systems as long as they prove technologically innovative given the current state of the art Big Data Analytics. Each demo will be complemented by a poster at the conference and will be allocated 2 pages in the conference proceedings.

Submissions of demonstration papers must be in English and should not exceed 6 pages in LNCS format (including references and figures). Papers should be submitted electronically via the conference submission system. At least one author of each accepted demonstration must register and attend the conference. The submissions will be accepted through EasyChair [https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bda20140] before August 4, 2014, 23:59 PST.
